N.K.Sherman is an award-winning writer and director whose films have screened for the Producers Guild of America and at film festivals throughout the U.S.. She assisted actor Jonah Hill in Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up and assisted Executive Producer, Guy Reidel on studio films including Creed 2 and The Spy Who Dumped Me, learning the ins and outs of physical production and what it takes to be an A-List actor.
She has done everything in the film industry from acted alongside industry veterans like Sylvester Stallone and Seth MacFarlane to pitching $3B F&B companies for product placement.
Her foundation in both business and creative pushes her goals to bring strong female-driven stories and diverse stories to books and the silver screen, promoting diversity in storytelling, and to collaborate with the best in publishing and entertainment.
She attributes her love for storytelling to her seven years of studying Latin, outstanding English and Writing teachers, and her countless nights staying up late devouring pages of narratives. As a first-generation college student, she studied Communication and Theater at Rutgers University on a full-scholarship and attended The Producers Program at UCLA. She currently resides just outside New York City, but has lived in Los Angeles and Seattle, where her debut novel originally formed.
